I was very lucky to snap up a ticket to City of Angels at the Donmar Warehouse for the 14th January matinee performance
It first premiered in London 20 years ago and it still very much has a place on today’s stage. It’s witty and sexy has a fantastic smoky jazz score by Cy Coleman. I loved all the characters but particularly enjoyed the outstanding, effortless performance given by Rebecca Trehearn as Oolie/Donna.
If you can, get a ticket! The finale to act 1 is worth the cost of the ticket alone!
Try Barclays front row on a Monday morning at 10am- you may get lucky!
