if you are looking for a good Chinese in london- you are not going to get better than My Old Place in Liverpool Street. One lady once said to me in the toilet that she hasn’t eaten better Chinese food- even in Beijing! 

You may have to queue and the staff are quite abrupt but you will not be disappointed! P

I recommend 

chilli and sour potato 

Sweet and sour chicken 

Beef and green pepper/hot pepper

BBQ lamb skewer

And lots of tsing Tao beer
