Opening soon is Barrio Brixton, the newest venture for the Barrio family

Opening mid March, Barrio Brixton will be the latest addition to the grown Barrio familia, taking inspiration from the local markets, arcades and brewers to create a fun, local hangout with delicious food and drink offerings.  From tequilas and mezcals, to piscos and rums, Barrio Brixton will bring it’s love of sunny spirits to the heart of South London. 

The new drinks menu will combine Barrio classics with new creations, and Brewery fresh tank beer will take pride of place alongside local and Latin craft brews.  Barrio’s food menu will have strong focus on anticuchos, succulent skewers of spiced, marinated meats. Ceviche is another Peruvian staple featured on the menu, made using homemade marinades and fresh ingredients.  

Located on Acre Lane, the ground floor 200 capacity venue will feature an outside ‘El Patio’ area, perfect for soaking up the sun as summer approaches. Bright interiors take up-cycling to the next level and the walls will be adorned with artwork provided by local artists, alongside hand painted tiles from Barrio guests.

Being a big fan of Barrio bars, this is great news! Can’t wait to pay a visit.
