The 4 star luxury  Lancaster hotel is home to the hidden gem Nipa Thai, an award winning restaurant offering traditional and authentic Thai cuisine.

April 2016 marks the 20th Anniversary of Nipa Thai which has fallen the same month as Songkran, the official Thai New Year.To celebrate this impressive milestone, Nipa Thai will be offering three extraordinary evenings of Thai treats on the 14th, 15th and 16th April.

Guests will enjoy early evening entertainment offering a glimpse into traditional Thai culture, followed by a delicious “Taste of Thailand” tasting menu, priced at £65.00 per person.

The evening will commence in the Lounge Bar at 6pm, where guests can enjoy a tempting Thai inspired cocktail. An iconic Songkran water blessing will then commence, symbolising cleansing and renewal for the New Year, followed by a performance from professional Thai dancers. The hotel’s sumptuous first floor Lounge Bar offers comfortable seating in a spacious and luxurious setting, providing the perfect ambience for pre-dinner entertainment.

Diners will then be invited into Nipa Thai where they can indulge on award-winning Thai cuisine, whilst admiring the restaurant’s unrivalled views across Hyde Park.

Dishes on offer will include: Spicy Green Papaya Salad, Grilled Chicken with Sticky Rice; and King Prawns in Green Curry. Each dish on the tasting menu will be prepared by Head Chef Sanguan Parr and her dedicated team according to traditional recipes.

Nipa Thai offers a holistic experience, from the all female Thai kitchen brigade to the smell of essential Lemongrass oil gently permeating the restaurant. The renowned restaurant has received the prestigious “Thai Select” award from the Thai Government in recognition of its incredibly high food quality standards.
