Launch night of Trade Union, Wapping

Londoners are busier than ever before and combination venues that have different lifestyle requirements are becoming more essential! This day to night venue will allow you to meet with colleagues, work, have a coffee, before staying into the evening for food and cocktails and even a hair cut or a bunch of flowers for your mum, if you do desire! Created by Adam Marshall, founder of Grand Union Bars, Trade Union provides a unique answer to the daily juggling act and we are grateful for it!

The venue is trendy yet unfussy, scaled back with a lot of open space, big windows and high ceilings.

A big sweeping bar and a large open kitchen keep the warehouse style feeling of space and with the beautiful flowers sold my Maus on entering, it is very welcoming.

The food we were treated to was

  • STEAK TARTARE + QUAIL EGG baked melba

  • HADDOCK FRIED FISH TACO’S + UNION CHILLI SAUCE pickled jalapeno + soft wonton taco shells
  • CORNISH CRAB

  • Various scrummy pizzas and garlic bread courtesy of Bushwick pizza co.

Cocktails were flowing, showing off the delicious cocktail menu which has something for everyone!

Maua London florist is stationed inside the venue selling beautiful, bespoke fresh flowers. This socially and environmentally conscious enterprise sources its seasonal blooms and roses from Kenya.

Drakes of London, TRADE UNION’s in-house barbershop will provide London’s gentlemen with the perfect experience of high quality male grooming.

With three successful shops across the city, Vagabond is one of London’s most loved speciality coffeemakers.

Great venue offering a unique experience- I predict I shall go back again and again
