Royal China, Queensway

Bayswater is a funny place – haven’t really been there before (even though I have lived in London for so long)

A bit like being on holiday with open sided restaurants that spill out onto the streets and groups of people milling around chatting and laughing. A real community feel, although mixed with tourists and visitors as well.

After a little drinky in a local pub we strolled to the Royal China Restaurant, which is a bit like the tardis. Quite a small door opening into a large dining hall.

Starting with a rum and passion fruit cocktail whilst we perused the extensive menu. We went for the house set menu at £33 per person which gave us…

Mixed hors d’oevres

crispy duck

Chicken with pepper and black bean, prawns with red chilli sauce, mixed vegetables and rice

Fresh fruit platter

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Royal China Queensway and if you are in need of a good old Chinese banquet- this is the place for you!

I hope to be back to try their Dim Sum menu very soon!

💋thanks folks
