Food and Drink · Out & About in London

Aquum, Clapham

Aquum, 68-70 Clapham High Street, London, SW4 7UL

The bar scene in Clapham has a lot going on and no more than from the glamorous and glitzy Aquum. The revamp and relaunch includes a new Greek menu and Greek inspired cocktails.

I went to college in Clapham and so it holds many memories of my misspent twenties and it’s lovely to be walking the south London streets again.

With food being one of the main focuses at the new venue, Head Chef Anastasios Tologlou (previously at Medlar, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal) has been appointed and created a menu that takes inspiration from his Greek roots combined with his experience from working in some of the world’s top Michelin starred restaurants.

If you are looking for somewhere to dress up and party late into the night, Aquum is the one for you. If you got some cash to spend you can even buy a metheuslah of belvedere, what’s not to love about that?
